What is free and what is paid

Most of this site costs nothing and requires no account: the articles, the practice tests and question banks, the courses, the Linux Playground, the system design tool, and the YouTube videos. They are free to use, with no trial and no upsell behind them.

Two things are paid: the 1:1 mentorship programme ($300 USD per month, on the mentorship page), and consulting or freelance engagements agreed individually. This page describes how both are delivered.

Who provides the service

Paid services are provided and invoiced by Rashid LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, which operates this site. The work itself is done personally by Muhammad Rashid — mentorship is not subcontracted or handed to an assistant.

Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are never collected or stored on this server.

Mentorship — what is delivered

The mentorship programme runs as a rolling monthly arrangement, typically over about 6 months. Within each month you receive:

• →Weekly 1:1 video calls, scheduled with you at a time that works across our time zones.
• →A written plan for your starting point, revised as you progress rather than issued once and forgotten.
• →Review of the projects, code, pipelines and infrastructure you build between calls, with written feedback.
• →Mock interviews and a resume / LinkedIn review as you approach applying.
• →Direct message access between calls for the things that do not need a whole session.

When it starts and how it is scheduled

Seats are limited, so a start date is agreed rather than automatic. After you apply I reply within 2 business days, and we have a free discovery call before any money changes hands.

If we go ahead, the first month is charged and the first session is scheduled within 7 days of that payment unless you ask for a later start. Calls are booked ahead so the slot is genuinely reserved for you, and the schedule is agreed with you rather than assigned.

Nothing is charged until a seat has actually been offered and accepted. Applying costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Consulting and freelance work

Consulting is scoped in writing before payment — what will be delivered, by when, and for how much. Delivery is remote and digital: code in a repository you own, infrastructure in an account you control, or a written document, depending on the engagement.

Timelines are agreed per engagement rather than published here, because they depend entirely on scope. Where an engagement runs over several weeks, work is delivered in reviewable increments rather than all at the end.

Receipts and confirmation

Every payment produces an emailed receipt from Stripe showing the amount, the currency and what it covers, plus an invoice where one applies.

If you have paid and no confirmation has arrived within one business day, email devopsbymuh@gmail.com. Do not pay a second time — duplicate payments are refunded, but the wait is avoidable.

Currency and taxes

All prices are quoted and charged in USD. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate or a cross-border fee, which is set by them and outside my control.

Prices are exclusive of any taxes or duties that apply where you are, which are your responsibility.

Where I can work

Mentorship and consulting are available worldwide, subject to United States sanctions and export control law. Sessions are remote and scheduled across time zones — there is no requirement to be in any particular country.

Sessions are conducted in English.

If delivery slips

If I need to move a session or a deadline, you hear it from me before the date rather than after it, with a new date attached. A session I cancel is rescheduled at no cost or credited to the following month.

If I become unable to continue an engagement, any month paid for and not delivered is refunded in full.

Support and contact

Questions about a payment, a session or an engagement in progress go to devopsbymuh@gmail.com. I reply within 2 business days, and usually sooner. Mentorship clients also have a direct channel agreed at the start, which is faster than email for anything urgent.
