Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2, 2026
Welcome to devopsbymuh.com. By using this website, you agree to these terms. They exist to keep things clear — the short version is: learn freely, use the code, don't misrepresent the content as your own, and understand that tutorials are provided as-is.
Who you are dealing with
“DevOps by Muh” is a brand, not a company. The site, the mentorship programme and any consulting work are operated and invoiced by Rashid LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Where these terms say “I” or “me”, the contracting party is Rashid LLC.
Correspondence, including anything about a payment, goes to devopsbymuh@gmail.com.
Educational purpose
All content on this site and the associated YouTube channel — tutorials, articles, projects, and code — is provided for educational purposes. It reflects real-world practices, but every environment is different: always review and test anything before applying it to production systems you are responsible for.
Use of code samples
Unless a repository states otherwise, code samples shown in videos and articles may be used freely in your own projects, personal or commercial. Attribution is appreciated but not required.
Republishing entire tutorials, articles, or videos as your own work is not permitted.
Practice tests and certification information
The practice tests on this site are written by me for study purposes. They are not official exams, are not endorsed by or affiliated with AWS, Microsoft, Google, the Linux Foundation, HashiCorp, Docker, Red Hat, or any other certification body, and contain no real exam questions. Passing a practice test here is not a prediction that you will pass the real exam.
Exam facts shown alongside each certification — question count, duration, passing score, price, and validity — are taken from the official exam guides at the time of writing. Vendors change them without notice, so every certification links to its official page. Confirm the details there before you book or pay for anything.
Explanations are written to teach the underlying concept. If you spot one that is wrong or out of date, tell me and I will fix it.
Tools and the Linux Playground
The tools on this site — including the Linux Playground and the system design generator — are provided free and as-is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or data retention. The Playground runs a virtual Linux machine inside your own browser; anything you create in it lives on your device and may be lost when you clear your browser storage. Do not put anything you cannot afford to lose in it, and do not use it to process confidential information.
Generated architecture diagrams and capacity estimates are starting points for learning and discussion, not engineering sign-off. Validate them against your own requirements before building on them.
Mentorship and consulting
Submitting a mentorship application or booking a call does not create a contract or guarantee you a place. Seats are limited and applications are reviewed individually. If we go ahead, the scope, schedule, and price are agreed separately in writing before anything starts, and those terms govern that engagement.
Mentorship is coaching and technical guidance. It is not a job placement service, a recruitment agency, or a guarantee of employment. The programme is built around getting you job-ready, and the outcome depends on the work you put in and on a job market neither of us controls. No promise of a job, an interview, a salary, or a timeline is made or implied.
Prices, payment and refunds
The mentorship price is published on the mentorship page and is charged monthly in advance, in US dollars. Consulting is quoted per engagement in writing before any payment is taken. Everything else on this site is free.
Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe, and by paying you also accept Stripe's own terms for that transaction. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never collected or stored by Rashid LLC or on this server.
Cancellation notice periods and what is refundable are set out in full in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and what is delivered and when is set out in the Service Delivery Policy. Both form part of these terms.
If a charge looks wrong, email devopsbymuh@gmail.com before raising it with your bank. Billing questions are answered within 3 business days and a direct correction is almost always faster than a chargeback.
No warranty
Content is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Running infrastructure commands — creating cloud resources, modifying clusters, deleting data — can incur costs or cause damage if applied carelessly. You are responsible for anything you run in your own environments, including any cloud charges you incur.
External links
This site links to third-party platforms and tools (YouTube, GitHub, cloud providers, documentation). Those sites have their own terms, and no responsibility is taken for their content or availability.
Intellectual property
The DevOps by Muh name, logo, and site design are the property of the site owner. Product names and logos referenced in tutorials (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and others) are trademarks of their respective owners, and their use here is for identification and education only.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the site grows. Updates are posted on this page with a new date at the top.
How the site handles the information you send it — newsletter signups, mentorship applications, topic requests — is covered separately in the privacy policy.
